A lengthy 157-minute rain delay halted play in the top half of the third inning during last night’s game between the Phillies and Dodgers. By the time the game ended a little after 1:40 a.m., Phillies pitchers had combined to walk 10 batters and hit two more, while the offense managed just two hits.

It was a pretty miserable night for Phillies fans out at the yard, but the team is trying to make amends by offering fans who purchased tickets complimentary future seats to a different game. Here’s the e-mail from the Phillies ticket office that went out earlier today. Check it out, after the jump.
