SugarHouse Sportsbook is rolling out an unbelievable season-long NFL pick’em contest in Pennsylvania which will feature over $500k in prizes. They become the first PA betting site to offer a leaderboard-style contest.
Popular in Las Vegas, pick ’em contests are a way for sportsbooks to engage casual fans by creating a simple pick’em game and leaderboard. SugarHouse Sportsbook will partner with its PA sister site Bet Rivers Sportsbook on a contest open to all players in Pennsylvania.
“We are really excited about the upcoming NFL season and know our players are, too,” said Richard Schwartz, President of Rush Street Interactive. “We wanted to make this season even more thrilling for football fans by creating a pick’em game where huge cash prizes will be won.”
How SugarHouse Sportsbook’s Pick ‘Em Contest Works
Users will pick winners for NFL games on Sunday and Monday and be ranked accordingly. At the end of the season, the overall winner will receive $125,000.
Players can enter now through September 8. The contest costs $150, but if those who enter by August 15 can get in for $125.
The best part is that there is no casino rake on the contest. 100% of entry fees will be paid out to winners. And if more than $500,000 in entries are collected, SugarHouse will raise the total payouts.
Players can enter up to 25 times.
