“We Know How to Win Super Bowls,” Says Michael Irvin of Cowboys, Who Haven’t Won a Super Bowl in 30 Years

Good Morning Football was in Philly on Monday. Kind of a sad crowd, but hard to blame them. It’s a Tanner McKee game tonight with no DeVonta Smith.

Michael Irvin was on his typical nonsense:

“I know you guys just got in the Super Bowl business. I understand you just got in the Super Bowl business. But we been in the business. We been in the business for a long time. And we know how to win Super Bowls! And we will get back! Starting tonight, at the cost of these Eagles fans. I tell y’all what, I guarantee y’all, tonight you lose in your own hometown. We will have our guys come and take your food off your plate and winning this game. Nobody! Nobody! We will win this game.”

Then he takes the jacket from the idiot in the front row. I’d bet my entire life savings that the dude with the glasses and Rick Ross beard has never been to Texas and probably can’t point to Dallas on a map.

But that’s typical for cockroach Cowboys fans from this area.

Irving, meantime, is entertaining, but also delusional. “We know how to win Super Bowls!”

Yeah, maybe in the mid-1990s, when Bill Clinton and Bob Dole were battling for the presidency. When Zaire was still a country and Metallica still had long hair. Hell, Jay Wright was just turning things around at Hofstra when the Cowboys last won the Super Bowl. Your teacher had one of those VCRs connected to a TV and they rolled the TV out on the cart with the wheels. Then we all squinted while trying to watch the Romeo and Juliet movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Claire Danes, John Leguizamo. Hotmail came out more recently than the last Cowboys’ Super Bowl.

EDIT – not only have the Cowboys NOT won the Super Bowl since 1996, they haven’t even made the NFC Championship Game during that time
