Danny B made a move:

Bunting played for Rick Tocchet in Arizona. Brief stint out there in his early 20s before he went to Toronto and became a 20-goal scorer. He’s floated around over the past 3-4 years, playing for the Hurricanes and Yinzers before splitting last season with the Predators and Stars. He scored 14 goals and added 19 assists across 74 combined games for those teams.

He’s a 31-year-old left wing with more than 400 NHL games under his belt. Decent player, but not a needle mover, and you’ll hear some grumbling about the Flyers bringing in a vet to displace some of the kids. Maybe that happens, maybe it doesn’t. Bunting is a bottom-6 forward at this point in his career.

Meantime, Vladimir Tarasenko is out there, unsigned. Raise your hand if you had Michael Bunting getting a deal before Vladdy.
