Oh no! What does this mean? Matvei Michkov’s IG account is now private and features 0 pictures:

My first thought that was that maybe Michkov didn’t want anybody to know he played for the Flyers. That he didn’t want to be associated with this team after going winless in seven games to begin the season, setting a franchise record in the process. Maybe it was so embarrassing that he just disappeared himself, figuratively speaking.

In that case, canyou blame him?

Jokes aside, maybe he wants out. Cue the trade speculation! He’s only getting 15:00 a night this season and logged a season-low 12:54 in the Carolina loss. The Flyers have the Kraken at home on Tuesday night as they look to get off the schneid.

The good thing about Philadelphia sports fandom + media coverage is that things can get good just as quickly as they got bad. If the Flyers win a game, the streak is over. If they win two games, we’re thinking playoffs. If they win three games in a row, we’re looking up the Stanley Cup futures at the best sports betting apps out there.

If Michkov never posts again, at least we can remember that one time he went all House Bolton on us and advocated for peeling off the opponent’s skin:
