The Flyers lost Game 5 in Pittsburgh on Monday night, final score 3-2.

Of course, when you’re up 3-0 in the series, the Yinzers aren’t saying anything. They can’t say anything. But now that they have life they are once again memeing and trolling and being irksome on the internet:

To be clear, there’s no “crash out.” It’s just a handful of insufferable pussies on Twitter who are always trying to be the first in line to sound the alarm and cry panic.

The Flyers are in trouble!

Man, shut the absolute fuck up. If you’re so concerned, don’t watch the games. Go outside and spread mulch on Wednesday night if you don’t think they’re gonna win another game in this series. Take your kid for ice cream or read a book. I’m so sick of all these fake fans with 4,000 Twitter followers who would rather say “I told you so” than see their team win a hockey game. Or football, or whatever. Before everybody was given a platform in a digital world, these miserabs were relegated to sports talk radio phone calls, and it was better that way.

Anyway, I see this as a boon. The Yinzers are getting back into the series. My feed is full of Pittsburgh Panthers fans. Gross! But they’re getting their hopes up again just in time for the Flyers to end it in Game 6. It’s once thing to get your hopes up going into the series, then kill those hopes and leave the opposition feeling deflated. But now we get to do it TWICE in the same series! They’re gonna get all juiced up again, only to be slapped down and lose 4-2. This series ain’t going back to Yinzerville.

FLYERS IN 6! GET EXCITED! <Tom McGinnis voice>
