Last night, Bryce Harper got on base and put on his Phillie Phanatic oven mitt like he typically does. Don’t tell that to Braves announcers though who thought it was Oscar the Grouch:

Listen it was late at the moment. That was the longest rain delay I can remember sitting through in awhile. Who am I to judge a guy when his brain is scrambled. But Oscar the Grouch is a hilariously bad guess. Yes, Bryce is a fan of prominent Philadelphian Oscar the Grouch. That’s it. Has that rip off Blooper polluted Braves fan’s brains so much that they don’t even remember the Phillie Phanatic down there? That’s just sad.
It was tough scene for everyone post rain delay. Bryson Stott was headhunting an usher for an entire at bat:
