Meantime, in the minor leagues:

Taking lessons from Max Scherzer, it would appear.

The funny thing is that this Bundy guy, who was ejected Wednesday, has a 10.08 ERA, which puts him somewhere between Taijuan Walker and Yunior Marte. Not great. Normally we’d give these guys the benefit of the doubt, because it could always be the case of an ump show or human error. Maybe clammy hands from the Chesapeake Bay breeze, but it’s the Mets we’re talking about. They’re dirty cheats. Looks like it extends to their farm system as well. Sad!

We’ll see if they can keep the streak alive. Going for three in a row tomorrow in Norfolk.
