Foreshadowing, Starring the Diamondbacks Radio Booth

Phillies win Game 1 by a final score of 5 to 3. It was closer than it needed to be. Probably should have put these bums away earlier, but here’s the D Backs radio call of the Schwarbomb:

“Gallen ready to go against Kyle Schwarber to lead it off. Schwarber 4 for 25 this postseason, but always a threat up there at the plate. There’s oftentimes where he can really lift this crowd with a long home run to start a ball game… and this first pitch is hit to right, one-nothing Philadelphia.”
Awesome. Reminds me of the Family Guy clip where Stewie is a Mets fan. “Opening day and here’s the first pitch… and the season’s over!”
The Phils jumped all over Arizona in this game. Still need to do more with RISP though, and Seranthony Dominguez didn’t exactly shut it down during his time on the mound. Phils up 1-0 though. WE GOT 7 MORE TOPPER.
