This Fight Between the St. Joe’s Prep and Roman Catholic Mascots Looks Like Something Out of Ace Ventura

We were sent some amazing footage of the St. Joe’s Prep and Roman Catholic mascots fighting over the weekend:

I thought this was fake at first, like something out of Ace Ventura, when Jim Carey is slapping the Eagle, but this is indeed very real. Analyzing the video at our disposal, we see the Cahillite start it off with a two-handed shove, then there’s a return slap from the Hawk. That’s followed by a Muay Thai clinch and some jockeying for position while hands are thrown wildly. After a bit of spinning around, the Cahillite body slams the Hawk and then the fight is broken up.
The Cahillite got the better of the Hawk, but that was Roman Catholic’s only win of the evening because the football game finished 45 to 7 in favor of the Prep.
(I can’t do anything about the video quality, it was probably initially recorded, maybe screen capped, and then compressed in circulation between iPhones and Androids)
