The Sixers Are Giving Out These Sweet Eagles Themed Shirts Friday Night

Chris Jastrzembski - January 31, 2018

Friday will kick off what could be a very busy week in South Philly. It begins early Friday morning with Wing Bowl. Later in the day, when normal civilization returns, the Sixers will host the Miami Heat in a nationally televised game on ESPN. They’ll debut their new City Edition jerseys as well, but will also go all out for the Eagles with a ton of Eagles stuff in preparation for the Super Bowl.

The first 10,000 fans will also get these shirts, courtesy of the Sixers and, our partner, Rush Order Tees:

The Sixers marketing team has nailed it again. These are fire. Get me one ASAP.

On this episode of “Vikings fans still not happy with Eagles fans”, they’re now cancelling their AirBnB’s due to fan behavior on Sunday.

Vikings-Eagles NFC Conference Championship Live Thread

Chris Jastrzembski - January 21, 2018

We lasted eight days. We’ve finally made it.

Tonight, the Eagles can get to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2005 as they take on the Minnesota Vikings at home in the NFC Conference Championship. It’s Nick Foles against Case Keenum. Who would’ve thought?

On the injury front, the Eagles are very healthy. Dannell Ellerbe is questionable with a hamstring injury. He played last week, so I don’t see why he won’t play this week.

For the Vikings, backup defensive tackle Shamar Stephen is out. Adam Thielen, Andrew Sendejo, and Mackensie Alexander are all questionable, but will play. According to Ian Rapoport, Thielen will play despite being in a ton of pain.

We’ll continually update this post as the game goes along. And check out our predictions to see how good (or probably bad) we guessed this game. Continue Reading

Vikings-Eagles Conference Championship Game Predictions

Chris Jastrzembski - January 21, 2018

This is it. It’s finally here. Game day. The Eagles look to go back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2005 when they host the Minnesota Vikings in a battle of two of the league’s top defenses.

The Eagles are coming off a 15-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons last Saturday, while the Vikings defeated the New Orleans Saints last Sunday on a last-second touchdown by Stefon Diggs.

To recap, here’s where the staff stands entering the conference championship:

T1: Bob, Tyler (15-2)

3: Chris (14-3)

4: Coggin (13-4)

T5: Kevin, Kyle, Tim (12-5)

8: Phil (11-6)

9: Anthony (8-9) (8-6, according to Anthony)

Our predictions for this week are after the jump: Continue Reading

Bud Light Sends Out a Special Message To Eagles Fans

Chris Jastrzembski - January 19, 2018

Bud Light had a smashing hit with their “Dilly Dilly” commercials this season. You’ll start to see the second installment of their series this weekend. The “Ye Old Pep Talk” is a precursor to their Super Bowl ad that will be released in two weeks, and hopefully the Eagles will be playing for a championship as well.

But there’s also a Philadelphia-specific message from the King himself. He’s surprised to see the team make it this far with injuries, and he admits he was wrong, even though he’s never wrong.

“Philly Philly!”

I Can’t Wait Any Longer

Chris Jastrzembski - January 19, 2018

Have you run through a brick wall yet watching the Eagles’ official hype video for Sunday’s game? You probably have already, and you’re even more pumped for this game.

Now, I want to run through people. Actual human beings.

DelcoDelphia did it again.

This video, the Eagles one that dropped yesterday, and Kyle Brandt’s Birds rant is exactly what we want.

“We all we got. We all we need.”

It’s Time To Run Through a Brick Wall Again

Chris Jastrzembski - January 18, 2018

The Eagles have always had great hype videos throughout the years. It continued with their NFC Championship version.

I’m kind of surprised there wasn’t a german shepherd appearance anywhere.

But I love this line about Doug Pederson:

“All led by one visor wearing, sideline glaring, screen pass calling, fourth down balling, division leading, running back feeding, salt and pepper son-of-a-gun.”

Let’s play the god damn game now. I can’t wait three more days for this. Minnesota’s got nothing.

“We all we got. We all we need.”
