No, I’m not talking about the two new sports lounges with a sport betting twist, nor am I focusing in on the esports areas. Friends, we’ve reached peak Philly.
Remember all those annoying national TV references to the “jail” under Veterans Stadium? The Eagles did a pretty decent job of shedding the image of Roman Colosseum savagery, when they announced a sensory room for individuals with Autism and sensory challenges at the Linc, something that represents an excellent way for all fans to enjoy a game. The folks across the street at the Wells Fargo Center have picked up the hard-nosed, blue-collar image of the Philadelphia fan and doubled down as they’ve announced the first-ever rage room in a major professional sports arena, which they’ve dubbed “The Disassembly Room”.
