Roy Oswalt was just hit in the head with a line drive off the bat of Manny Ramirez. He was able to get up and walk off the field on his own.
According to the beat reporters, the ball hit him just behind right ear. He is being taken to a local hospital for X-rays. The official diagnosis from the Phillies is "bruised neck."
UPDATE: X-rays were negative and Brian Schneider will be driving Oswalt back to Clearwater.
Ball might have hit Oswalt in neck or off shoulder. If so, he's lucky.

Looks like he's gonna be fine. If anything, he looks pissed as hell that Dubee and Charlie pulled him from the game. If you pause the video near the very end when he looks back at Dubee, that expression tells the whole story.
...Not the still frame that is legitimately terrifying. Lmao
