Today in Yinz: The Most Unfortunate License Plate and Frame Combo You’ll Ever See

Screen Shot 2012-08-22 at 4.12.13 PM
Reader Jim sends along this photo of what appears to be the most stereotypical Yinzer vehicle rear you will find: Random Zamboni decal? Steelers medallion and plate frame? SIDCRSB license plate on back of entry-level-priced American-made SUV? All present.

Only thing missing is the my other car is a crane bumper sticker.

  1. Can’t we just give pittsburg to ohio ?

  3. Please never use the words “yinz” or “yinzers” ever again. Thank you.

  4. Shitsburgh strikes again…

  5. he a fan, cut him some slack

No self respecting “man” would have that license plate! Where is the Phillies sticker? That’s how they roll in Central PA. Steelers, Penguins, Phillies “fans”. Of course, this year that has changed to Steelers, Penguins, Nationals “fans”.

Forgot the Orange County Choppers sticker too….he must be a bad ass like Paul Teutul. Stickers / personalized license plates make people so transparent.

Is that Congressional candidate TAWM SMITH: CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN?

  14. Blue sticker upper left is West Marine, boating supply store.
So loser rides his chopper with pistol to the lake to fish? Can he trash that car up any further?

  15. That’s cool, he’s hardcore & wants everyone to know it. Don’t hate

  16. But he’s douche, not hardcore. They put the West Marine sticker in your bag when you buy anything, like a bottle opener. I have 50 of them, my kids play with ’em. If there’s ever gonna be one on my car it’ll be for 10 seconds cause a bud punked me, and that’s war.

  17. Notice the absence of a “my child is an honor student sticker”. Not that it would be an accomplishment, a yinzer honor student is the one that can go the longest without knocking up his sister.

  18. At least the steelers have won a Super Bowl, ever. And at least the penguins have won a Stanley cup since Gerald ford was president. Loser Philly fans….

  19. Exactly, having a successful pro sports team play near your general geographic area provides the perfect reason to shit your car up.
My personal fav: The dude’s so stupid he put a sticker where the wiper cleans, so half the sticker & glue are now all over his wiper. Well at least now there’s a space to put his assinine ‘family of five with dog’ sticker. Oh wait, that one costs actual money….

Big deal, a yinzer fan has a weak license plate… No different than someone from here having a tag that says CHOOOCH or CHSUTLY or whatever… Custom plates, especially ones intended to be read as an athlete’s name are for tools in general
@Edward Murphy, you forgot to mention that the Pirates also have more World Series Championships than the Phillies… I was waiting for some yinzer to bust out the “How many Superbowls do the Eagles have?” question that everyone from Pittsburgh resorts too when they feel threatened or unjustly ridiculed. Nice original thought, though I have to give your credit on the Gerald Ford comment, that actually made me laugh.

  21. You have to think about one shot. One shot is what it’s all about. A deer’s gotta be taken with one shot.

  22. To share with you a very good article!
