You just knew that there’d be a Jeff Carter joke, but it sure didn’t take long.

Hopefully everyone had insurance. It’s really sad when someone loses their home and sentimental possessions.
April 18, 2014 at 5:59 pm
Holy shit, a level-headed, non-trolling, sympathetic comment?
It’s the Crossing Broad unicorn!

Actually these would be vacation homes so nobody is like homeless or anything. I am sure the owners who obviously already have $$ will now get more cash from insurance. Win win
April 18, 2014 at 10:17 pm
win win? Are you insane?
April 18, 2014 at 11:08 pm
No i am serious. These are second homes. They will probably rebuild bigger and better. Seen it plenty of times
April 19, 2014 at 12:02 am
In some cases, people may come out on top financially, but in most cases that is simply not true. Have you heard of deductibles? Not to mention with stupid zoning, often times the rebuilding process is a pain in the arse and I assure you nobody wishes to lose their possessions in this fashion (yes, I realize vacation home is unlikely to have heirlooms, family pictures etc…)
“Seen it plenty of times.” Are you an insurance adjuster? or just an asshole?
Not to mention, with whats happening with insurance these days, these people may have a hell of a time getting policies on their rebuilt homes.
You are talking out of your ass. This is devastating… insurance is designed to make you *mostly* whole, not to have you come out on top. Do I have to explain the reasoning behind that? Maybe you can figure it out if you think real hard. Oh, wait, you’ve “seen it plenty of times,” you’re an old pro!

Take a look at local news as they interview the Rodriguez family who owned one of the lost homes. No tears. Not an ounce of sadness or panic. In fact they tell fox 29 that they are fully insured and will rebuild in a very matter of fact way. So i feel no sympathy at all for them. Get a friggin clue.

Hopefully it’s not J-ish lighting. Side note fingered a chick at the carousel spent the whole night picking sand out if my nails

Probably an angry flyers fan lit that fire

Seriously dude stop with the 1975 shit….I’ll admit that 40 yrs without a championship is a black eye on a organization. But with the exception of a shortened 93-94 season the rangers haven’t won dick either … Put an asterisk next that year…it’s not a real season…the factors of full season never happened…they were good and all but if a full occurs who knows what happens…before that they won in 1939……really? Thats horrendous, in fact they only won it 3 times in the original 6 era thats really horrendous . They have 4 cups in 90 years! And 40 of those years they were only playing 5 other teams. Yes the flyers only have 2 cups but that’s in 46 years…and they also won theirs during full seasons with more teams. If you look at it they are kinda on the same pace…and yea the flyers aren’t winning shit this year… But guess what neither are the Rangers. They will beat the flyers this series not because they are better than the flyers… We just don’t match up well with them same reason the penguins can’t beat the flyers….and you can enjoy that for like 3 days cause after that they will be smoked by whoever they see in the 2nd round
April 18, 2014 at 9:49 pm
Wrong season dude. 94-95 was the short one.
Don’t ever try to justify the flyers lack of success with another teams’.
Plus, you should make sure you have your facts right.
April 18, 2014 at 10:56 pm
Get your facts straight Sid the kid.

Thank God everyone’s cell phone camera is working. What is it that makes douchebags immediately want to take a picture of bad events/catastrophes? Besides being assholes of course.

Don’t be such a salty snatch. If they didn’t take those photos we wouldn’t be able to engage in this enthralling discussion and I would have had to keep trolling for an opportunity to write “salty snatch.” As it is, this conversation happened and my trolling is complete that much earlier.
