Jeff Carter Could Return for Game 2

We like to hate on Jeff Carter's partying ways, but he could return for game 2, and that my friends, would be impressive.  According to John Boruk of CSNPhilly.com:

Team sources have told CSN’s John Boruk that Flyers center Jeff Carter has an outside chance of returning for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals against Montreal.

Carter is scheduled to have his broken right foot examined Monday but is hoping to receive clearance to skate Sunday night. He has not skated since suffering the injury in Game 4 of the quarterfinal series against the Devils. 

Flyers doctors need to see evidence that the foot is healing. It is more likely that Carter returns for Game 3. Games 2 and 3 are Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
