We recently had an opportunity to ask Eagles Tight End Brent Celek his thoughts on McNabb, Kolb, the Philly fans, and who's autograph he would stand outside of a bathroom for.
You can follow Brent on Twitter (@brentcelek) or Facebook.
Thanks to Brent for taking time to answer our questions. And yes Brent, McNabb did wait outside of a bathroom for Justin Bieber.

thing about playing in Philadelphia?
The fans are great. They are what drive the city. They are so passionate about
their sports so it makes us players passionate.
CB: Worst thing?
The cold weather.
Recently, a fan ran on the field at a Phillies game and was tasered. What are your thoughts about fans on the
field, and what measures should be taken?
I don’t think the fans should be on the field but as far as the punishment
thats up to security to decide.
CB: You were
one of McNabb’s favorite targets. Are
you worried that might change with Kolb?
No, we came in together in the same draft class and we’ve been
friends since then so we have great chemistry.
When neither of us were starting, we practiced together, so we got our
Kolb has only thrown 130 passes in the NFL (we were critical of his contract
extension). What is your confidence
level in Kolb after having a seasoned vet like McNabb out there?
I am very confident in Kevin and know he is going to be a great Quarterback in
CB: Is there
any difference to catching a ball out of Kolb’s hand, compared to
McNabb’s? I know some NFL players say
the balls come out differently from different QB’s.
No, there’s not really a difference that I’ve noticed.
CB: What LB
gives you the most problems in coverage?
London Fletcher of the Washington Redskins.
He is a veteran and a true pro because he understands defensive schemes
and offensive patterns and he’s very good at reading what teams are doing. He always seems to be in the right place at
the right time.
the Philadelphia fans?
Like I said, they are extremely passionate and are the best thing about playing
year, you were penalized for taking part in the Captain Morgan pose. Is the league’s stance on celebrations too
harsh in your opinion?
I don’t think so. I understand where they are coming from, especially because
of what was being represented and if there are rules, you have to live by them
I’m fine with that.
CB: How do
you drink your Captain?
Haha, no comment.
Reid in one sentence or less.
Extremely smart man who wants nothing but the best out of his players.
CB: We have
poked fun at Desean Jackson’s Twitter posts.
“Jerk it” “Get it in” and “Popn” are all recurring phrases. Do you hang out with Desean? And what is it like being around a
personality like that?
Yes I think Desean is a character but he loves to compete all the time and I
love hanging out with him. He’s definitely a cool guy and he always keeps
CB: If you
weren’t playing football, what would you be doing?
Something with the stock market or a financial advisor.
green or midnight green?
CB: Pat’s or
CB: Favorite restaurant?
CB: A night
on the town. Where are you going?
CB: Back to
McNabb. He recently waited for Justin
Bieber to come out of a bathroom for an autograph. Is there any athlete/celebrity you would wait
outside a bathroom to get an autograph from?
Where did you hear that? I would say
CB: Best friend on the team?
I can’t answer that I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings
guy on the team?
Philadelphia. Football town or baseball
Football town! I have great respect for
the Phillies though.
you’re not playing football, you’re________________

Anywhere from Enya to Little Wayne, but no Justin Bieber.
Show you would be embarrassed to have people find out you like?
Penguins of Madagascar
of Eagles wins in 2010?
A: There is no predicting our record, I can only
say our goal is to win the Superbowl.
CB: How many
Touchdowns will you have?
As many as I can.
one goal you set for yourself in 2010?
To help my team reach their 2010 goal of winning the Super Bowl.
His answer to the “Pat’s or Geno’s” question makes me love him even more than I already did. Pat’s and Geno’s are for tourists, any true Philadelphian knows that Jim’s is where it’s at.
