Ibanez has hit well of late (over .300 in July), but that still doesn't solve for his .209 average against lefties.  Today will be the ninth time in the last 10 games that Ben Francisco has started against a left-handed pitcher.

Charlie Manuel won't call it a "platoon", but you can call a stripper a dancer too and it doesn't change anything.
