In keeping with today's food theme…
Last night, Ryan Howard and his teammates served up steak at Morton's Steakhouse in Center City, with proceeds benefiting the Ryan Howard Family Foundation. The organization aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged youths.
Each guest ponied up $250 to have Howard, Shane Victorino, Chase Utley, Cole Hamels, and other Phillies serve them a steak dinner. Philly Mag was there to capture it and has more photos.
NBCPhiladelphia spoke with Ryan Howard live from the event. Video, and a picture of Chase Utley that looks like Glenn Quagmire, after the jump.
Also, today at noon, Shane Victorino and Ben Francisco will be switching roles with Southwest Airlines workers at the airport. No idea why, but let's, um, keep them off the tarmac, eh?

Love to read and hear about the things that the team does for charity. Cool! Barb
Cole Hamels should keep his day/night job. He was in the weeds and confused most of the night.
