FIVE!

What a cluster-fuck that was.  The Flyers took a 3-2 lead into the third period, only to quickly fall behind, 4-3, thanks to a couple of frightening plays from Bouche.

Just 40 seconds into the period, Mark Recchi (yes, somehow, someway, he is still playing hockey) dumped the puck in behind the Flyers' net.  It took a crazy bounce (read: right back into the GD crease) and Recchi stuffed it in.

Just a minute later, Bouche went all Michael Leighton on us, by letting a puck in from… well… I'm still not sure how it went in.

The Flyers weren't done, however- Danny Briere scored and Sean O'Donnell (yep) sniped the top shelf to give the Flyers a 5-4 lead.

Then we got screwed.

At around the 5:20 mark of this video, you will see Briere point above the glass.  The Flyers correctly believed that the puck had left play and were caught napping for just a second.  The Bruins took the puck the other way and scored, tying the game at five.  They would score again and add an empty netter to win.

That was all in the third period.

Must-watch highlights after the jump (skip to 4:35 to get to the third period), complete with Jack Edwards on the call.
