Cheeseball newspaper lede: There might be turmoil on the field and in the locker room… but there are turbines on the roof.
That, or Transformers 18 is being shot at the Linc.
Finally, after a lengthy delay, wind turbines will be added to Lincoln Financial Field. It’s all part of a green initiative that will include 11,000 solar panels, solar canopies in K Lot, and a new cell phone antenna system. Those changes we detailed back in June.
No word on how long it will take for the turbines to get up and running. But now you know what that goofy contraption on the roof will be when you see it on Sunday.

Can’t wait to litter Sunday
real classy Candy
@matt – exactly!
Good for the organization though, taking initiative over all the other teams….setting a positive example for once!
This is why the Eagles will always remain the GOLD STANDARD.
Who needs Super Bowls when you can have clean energy and suckers who continuously make the Eagles money.
I hope to do the same here in Cleveland.
@Matt and Aaron
It’s because they haven’t been in the headlines lately, plus the Sixers are about to start. Always stealing the chocolate thunder.
Cell phone reception still sucks at the stadium. Internet connections still suck through cell service.
Nothing has changed.
Just in time for the Halloween Hurri-snow-noreaster-appocolypse
The vibe in Lot K is awful now. It isn’t fun to drink under these contraptions.
