Cliff Lee Pissed a Reasonable Amount of Excellence Last Night

Screen Shot 2013-06-19 at 8.14.53 AMI feel like every time Cliff Lee rocks back and then lunges forward in his poetic throwing motion that he’s trying, through artistic expression, to tell us and the Phillies, “win, or trade me.” It makes me all Misty May, if I’m being honest. They shouldn’t trade the best pitcher in the National League.

Anyway, Lee last night: 8 IP, 2 ER, 5 H, 9 K, 0 BB.

Video after the jump.

  1. The best part about Cliff Lee getting traded will be that I won’t have to read “pissing excellence” on this site anymore.

  2. If he wanted to win, maybe he should have held a 4-0 lead in the NLDS?

    1. Oh fuck you, what if he was just holding in a fart all night and had diarrhea from the fucking pressure. If I talk to all of your ex gfs, I guarantee one of them will say you cum to fast you dumb fuck.

    2. How about the Phillies score ANY runs to support him during that outing. I am so fucking tired of people bringing up this game. Hes a hall of fame pitcher. Suck a dick asshole.

  3. Wow, I think you’ve set a record for “less than a paragraph” posts this week. 3 sentences, and 1 of them a pitching line. Yay for 66% original work!

  4. I am tired of Cliff Lee and his comments. Just pitch and shut the fuck up. We get it, you don’t care. YAWN. Something tells me this guy is a real douchebag anyway. Hey Cliff, by the way, remember when you went back to the WS in 2010 with the Texas Rangers and got bombed by the SF Giants? You have had your chances to win and blew it, don’t blame us. That’s Baseball!!!!

    1. Never thought I’d admit this since I like Cliff, but he’s becoming like Curt Schilling in that he’s a horse on the mound, but a horse’s ass off it, to paraphrase Ed Wade.

    2. He wasn’t saying anything any other Phillies player would say if asked the same question. Since when is “I want to win” saying “I want to be traded”?

Philly fans biggest problem is they listen to the worthless fucks who are a part of the Media in this city. People, the media in this city is full of pot stirring, word twisting ,douche nozzles. Stop listening to what they tell you the players mean when they talk. It’s all horse shit. Cliff Lee wanting to win doesn’t equal “trade me”. Fucking idiots. The fact that everyone is talking trades in June shows how stupid this type of talk is. It’s all Horse hit (unicorn shit maybe?), ignore it.

  5. The Phillies got their 10th runner thrown out at home plate last night, thanks in large part to the heir apparent (as Sammy laughs his ass off over in the first base box for all of the criticism he took last year). And oh yeah, that doesn’t include Sandberg nearly blowing Ryan Howard’s other Achilles out the other night by starting him home then stopping him at the last minute.
Starting to see why the Cubs let Sandberg go, even after he had a HOF career with them.

    1. I have been thinking the same thing more and more; a HOF player does not a HOF manager make….
