The Flyers Have Amnestied Danny Briere

Knew this was coming. It can’t be made official until 48 hours after the Stanley Cup Finals, but Paul Holmgren released a statement saying the Flyers will amnesty Danny Briere:

“I met with Danny last week and informed him of our decision to use a compliance buy out on his contract. This was a very difficult decision for us to make as Danny has been a very good player for us over the past six years. Danny came to our organization as a free agent in July of 2007 and has been a tremendous player, person and role model in all aspects and for that we thank him. We wish him continued success and best wishes in any future endeavors.”

I’ll always remember the time I wrote an entire post about Danny Briere’s hands.

We’ll see Danny in a few years, when he’s given a lifelong ambassadorship with the Flyers.

Again Homer puts names on a dart board and he threw 1 dart and it landed on Danny, not Bryz. Fuck him

Danny was going to be amenstied no matter what. Homer (smartly) wants, you know, a replacement if he’s going to amnesty Bryz.

Tough little guy. past couple seasons he’d mix it up with bigger guys.
    you can’t amnesty that shit.

I’ll be happy with wherever he lands and hope he wins a Cup with them.. only reason I could deal with the Kings win was because of Gagne and I’ll feel the same for Briere. He’ll be missed.

And who’s going to raise the teenagers on the team now?

Is it just me or does it seem like some of these comments look like written by brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are writing on additional places, I’d lie to keep up with anything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list of every one of your public sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a superb job with this. Also, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Internet explorer. Outstanding Blog!

Link exchange is nothing else except it is simply placing the other person’s webpage link on your page at suitable place and other person will also do similar for you.
