Better Rant: Jon Stewart on Wolf Blitzer or Keith Olbermann on the Nationals and Major League Baseball

Kyle Scott | September 18, 2013

You could see both of these coming a mile away.

In one corner, Wolf Blitzer and his screaming nonsenstities during live coverage of the Navy Yard shooting were just begging to be shredded by Jon Stewart.

In the other corner was the Bryce Harper Tweet indicating that the Nationals would wear Navy hats… only you knew that the team or MLB, as they’ve been known to do before, would screw it up and come off looking selfish and disconnected in what should have been a simple tribute. Someone like, say, Keith Olbermann would be there to point out the hypocrisy.

Well, neither Stewart nor Olbermann let us down.

First up: Olbermann, with his rant on how the Nationals and Major League Baseball ejaculated this situation into a tissue of unfortunality:

Beautiful.

Meanwhile, on The Daily Show, Stewart picks up where my hating of Wolf Blitzer left off— shredding Blitzer’s entire network for their coverage on Monday, in two different segments. Those videos, easily of the must-watch variety, are after the jump.
