CBS Philly is reporting that the Eagles-Bears game on December 22 has been flexed to NBC at 8 p.m.:
The Eagles vs. Bears game at Lincoln Financial Field to 8pm is “all but done,” according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com is reporting the same thing. CHRISTMAS WEEKEND NIGHTTIME FOOTBALL. HOT.
[UPDATE: Done deal.]This bumps Patriots-Ravens, which is a BFD (big fucking deal).

To which I say, Eliot, in my best Saul Berenson voice: Flex ’em. Flex ’em all.
*He was so much better than this new motherfucker.

Confirmed. Got notice from the eagles as I was reading your post.
thats annoying. keep it at 1
There are no Monday Night, Thursday Night, or Sunday Night games the final week of the season so whoever thought eagles-cowboys would be flexed is an idiot.
Ummm there’s always a Sunday night game the final week, Cowboys blew it last year in prime time to the Redskins.
Q: Is it ever less than great when someone calling someone else an idiot gets made to look like the real idiot?
A: Nope.
Butterlick is dumber than my dad.
HAAAAA! HAAAAAA!
kee-kee-kee-kee-kee
I think NBC didn’t want to take the chance that should the Cowboys lose next week it could make the final game meaningless. I am also aware that no game can be protected in the final week meaning that NBC has their choice of any Fox or CBS game. I wonder if they could show the Eagles on consecutive weeks because it is quite possible that the Eagles-Cowboys game might be the only game that matters in the final week.
