Jay Z, Beyonce and Russell Wilson Watched the Sixers Play Last Night, and Other Nuggets

Voila_Capture1123That’s one way to write that headline, right? Jay Z and Beyonce were at the Sixers-Nets game in Brooklyn and they were joined by Russell Wilson, whose life has just become surreal. Spencer Hawes, a Washington native, stopped by to greet Wilson, and Wilson looked like he had no idea who Hawes was.

Surprised Hawes would even come that close to Obama supporters the Carters.

 

A successful West Coast swing ended for the Flyers, who took two of three from some of the best in the Western Conference– the Ducks, Kings and Sharks. Let’s see if they can keep it up and, for once, play with some consistency by taking, say, three out of four points from the Avalanche and Flames before the Olympics.

 

And Villanova, who is now ranked #6, improved to 20-2, crushing Xavier last night after destroying Temple over the weekend. The V is for Victory, and you can get it on a shirt:
