It’s hard to make fun of the Pens when the Flyers-Rangers series could be illustrated by a painting of a giant Brian Boyle gobbling up little hockey puck-shaped gnats. But Marc-Andre Fleury was at his best last night. And by best, I mean implodiest. The last two goals are just spectacular.

This is the problem with the Philadelphia mindset. Instead of worrying about our own shitty teams we worry about silly fan rivalries. For a long stretch it was ragging on the Nats.
You realize watching and/or commenting on the Pens or any other team impacts the Flyers in no way, shape or form, correct?
You realize that making fun of the Pens and Nats when the Philadelphia teams are equally as bad is fuckin retarded right?
You realize that if you’re a fan of sports it is commonplace to make fun of rival teams even if they are BETTER than your rooting interests? It’s done to amuse us. If we choose to do this for our own amusement just like most sportsfans do, so be it. If you don’t like it? Well then you can go fuck yourself.

Fleury is a terrible goalie…sure he’s athletic and great in the shootouts but he is so fragile and weak and his puck-handling skills are so pathetic. Bylsma is also one of the worst coaches and was globally exposed during the Olympics. Can’t believe Pittsburgh has stuck with these boneheads for the past 5 years…it’s pretty comical that this is acceptable to them. They are imploding and unfortunately they’ll probably make major changes this off-season.
This game made me laugh. I was soo pleased to watch the Pens squander this game away. I even texted friends and lol’d about it for awhile. Hey, Go Bob! I wish he was in OB still. :>(
