Best teacher ever. Worst teacher ever.
The Philadelphia District Attorney’s office has charged a special education teacher with having sex with a 14-year-old student.
Stephanie Amato, 30, an 8th grade teacher at Ethan Allen Elementary School in Northeast Philadelphia, was arraigned early Thursday morning. Bail was set at $120,000.
The DA’s office says Amato had sex with the teen, who is one of her students, at her home and in her car on multiple occasions between March and April.
Sources say even though Amato knew she had to turn herself in to police Wednesday, she posted pictures on Facebook of herself hanging out with her students on Tuesday night.

At the very least, you have to admire Ms. Amato’s balls. Turning yourself into police on statutory rape charges on Wednesday? GO JOYRIDING AND TAKE SELFIES WITH AUTHORITY-SALUTING KIDS ON TUESDAY! She does not care what you think, not even a little bit. There were children who needed corrupting and those pesky sexual assault charges weren’t going to dampen the mood.
Amato posted 10% of her $120,000 bail. The kids in these photos tell NBC 10 that she did nothing wrong. Of course they do.
