This weekend, when people weren’t busy booing Gary Bettman relentlessly at the Wells Fargo Center, they were watching the hockey draft. And with the 17th pick in the first round of that draft, the Flyers took defenseman Travis Sanheim, an 18-year-old Manitoba native who plays “more of a positional game than a physical one” and stands out when he’s moving the puck. Let’s see, what else do you need to know about Sanheim? Oh, his favorite team is the Penguins and he loves Sidney Crosby. Yea, that’ll change.

And in that Penguins fandom, Sanheim had some thoughts about Brayden Scheen during a very chippy 2012 season series between the Flyers and Penguins:

Look, then he was just a 16-year-old kid tweeting about his favorite team, and he at least had the knowledge to go ahead and delete those tweets sometime over the weekend and offer up the one below:
