This weekend, when people weren’t busy booing Gary Bettman relentlessly at the Wells Fargo Center, they were watching the hockey draft. And with the 17th pick in the first round of that draft, the Flyers took defenseman Travis Sanheim, an 18-year-old Manitoba native who plays “more of a positional game than a physical one” and stands out when he’s moving the puck. Let’s see, what else do you need to know about Sanheim? Oh, his favorite team is the Penguins and he loves Sidney Crosby. Yea, that’ll change.

And in that Penguins fandom, Sanheim had some thoughts about Brayden Scheen during a very chippy 2012 season series between the Flyers and Penguins:

Look, then he was just a 16-year-old kid tweeting about his favorite team, and he at least had the knowledge to go ahead and delete those tweets sometime over the weekend and offer up the one below:

Still, dude better at least bring Schenn some apology doughnuts or something.

UPDATE: Schenn don’t care.

    1. Yes, let’s be more physical. Need those energy guys that can knock opposing teams players around. That has won us how many Cups in the last 40 years? Don’t be afraid of skill. It is your friend.

      1. Our players are the toughest, most physical guys and we always win the Hits stat! We’ll punch your face in!!! That’s what Flyers hockey is all about!

  1. Well, we know one thing’s for sure – the kid’s already coming across as a d-bag, and obviously doesn’t watch games with his eyes open, or else he’d see cindy for the whining, crying, sniveling, crybaby, pansy, pussy punk he really is.

  2. Crosby is easily the best player in the league and it’s not even close. He has one ring and two gold medals with a gold medal clinching goal in one of those.

Only loser stepfords think he blows.

    1. Being good at hockey doesn’t make him any less of a whining, crying, baby back bitch who folded like a cheap tent in how many playoffs in a row now?
