From our friends at TiqIQ:

With an average price on the secondary market of $150, Penn State football tickets at Beaver Stadium hold the 10th spot in TiqIQ’s annual ranking of the 25 college football programs in the country after week one. The 10 spot puts PSU in a position amongst the most in-demand college football tickets in the nation. In 2011, before the program was engulfed in controversy, the average price for a ticket to see the Nittany Lions at Beaver stadium was $187, which was good for 7th in the nation. While Penn State isn’t eyeing the post-season this year, it may not be too far in the future behind the arm of true sophomore Christian Hackenberg. In his first start this season, Hackenberg threw for 454 yards and led Penn State to a hard fought win over UCF. While the secondary market is more active this year than any of the last three, the primary market also has availability. For those willing to commit to an entire season, they’ll be rewarded with an average ticket price of only $40 for each game. That ends up being about $15 cheaper than getting tickets to all the games through the secondary market.

The second home game is also the second lowest-priced game of the season. The average price is $98.15 with a get-in price of $41. With a record of 1-11 last season UMass is another warm-up game, and it’s an opportunity to see Hackenberg put up some serious yeards. UMass has just two wins in the last two seasons, one of which came against Akron in 2012.

9/27 vs Northwestern | Avg. Price: $149.14 | Get-in: $75

Penn State suffered an embarrassing loss to the Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium last season, allowing 63 points and putting up just 14 of their own. The Nittany Lions will look to redeem themselves in October, though the team will have its hands full with the star-studded cast of Ohio State.

The rich rivalry between both teams will be renewed for the first time since 1993 after Maryland joined the Big Ten Conference last month. Penn State is 35-1-1 in 37 matchups with Maryland.

11/15 vs Temple | Avg. Price: $100.71 | Get-in: $34

The Temple Owls travel to Beaver Stadium on November 15 for a game that will also have a below-average secondary market price of $100.71. The two PA teams will play each other for the first time since 2012, when Penn State took a 24-13 victory over Temple. The get-in price for the mid-November game is at just $34.

11/29 vs Michigan State | Avg. Price: $148.99 | Get-in: $54

The Nittany Lions last played the Spartans in 2010 and lost 28-22.
