DeSean Jaccson, who’s already kicked off the chain of events leading to his unceremonious release from the Redskins, posted on tha ‘gram yesterday a picture of his new car– a 12-cylinder, 621 horsepower (!!!) Mercedes S65 AMG Coupe, which debuts this month with a price tag of, buckle up, $231,825 (presumably not including inception fees, of course):

The best part of this, though, may be Car and Driver’s description of the type of person who could afford-would buy such a car:

But wait! If such flagrant displays of privileged ignorance are your bag, you’ll need to wait a few more months until December. Then, you’ll be free to pony up $231,825 for the twelve-cylinder S65 AMG. Extra weight over the coupe’s front axle? A mere trifle. Complaining about the V-12 engine architecture’s age? That’s for anoraks. Repair bills once the warranty’s up? Pah, you’ll have traded it in for a new one by then. Fuel costs? Your Amex Centurion card scoffs at the piddly amount of your annual income you’ll devote to big-oil conglomerates. Wait, don’t you own stocks in one of those, anyway?

Face it, the S65 is the one you want. It’s the iron fist to pulverize them all, and all for around a quarter of a million bucks. The only stick in the S65’s mud is—and we know how bizarre this might sound—its relative value. While the S550 coupe costs a head-spinning $22,500 more than the four-door S550 4MATIC, and the S63 coupe commands $19,450 over the S63 sedan’s base price, the S65 AMG coupe’s premium over its more practical equivalent stands at a relatively palatable $8,900. We’ll just keep that one from those swipe-happy Centurion card holders.

Ya digg?
