Sam Hinkie's Mentor Said a Very Strange Thing

Daryl Morey, GM of the Houston Rockets and Sam Hinkie’s mentor, simultaneously made himself and every gynecologist ever sound like a creep with a poorly executed analogy on Twitter. A better tweet? “No. I like basketball.” But Morey really went the weirdo route.

Kyle is always rambling on about how insanely smart people (like Morey) and nerds should never be trusted. About how they have the same animal instincts as everyone else, but often feel the need to hide it due to some self-righteous notion that they’re above that… until, of course, their humanity rears its ugly head in the weirdest of ways and they shoot bottle rockets out of their ass or tweet about the visual pleasures associated with being a gynecologist. I guess Morey provides him with some more ammo for that strangely strong opinion.

And after this, are the people who always beg Hinkie for a quote — coughcough Howard Eskin cough — even sure they want to hear him talk? We’re not saying he definitely does, but maybe the Hinkster has got some weird analogies of his own, and, quite frankly, I’m not sure I’m ready for them.
