Adam Schefter just reported on ESPN’s NFL Insiders that the Eagles are working on a trade to send Nick Foles to the Rams for Sam Bradford and some sort of draft pick. Bradford’s last season looked like that above, as he missed the whole year after tearing his ACL (for the second time) in the preseason. [The report has since been confirmed by others.]

We’ll have more on this when it becomes official, and keep your eyes on the sticky post above for trade and free agency updates throughout.

UPDATE: The pick coming to the Eagles could be a second rounder.

UPDATE 2: Swapping (likely) second round picks.

UPDATE 3: According to the NFL Network (and ESPN), the swap of picks are first rounders, which gives the Rams the #20 overall pick and moves the Eagles way up to #10.

UPDATE 4: Now Jim Thomas (who covers the Rams) says the deal does not involve a swap of first rounders, while Albert Breer is backing off of it too. We’ll keep updating until we know 100% for sure.

UPDATE 5: It’s not as exciting as any of that after all. The Rams get Nick Foles, the Eagles’ 4th round pick in 2015 and second round pick in 2016. The Eagles get Sam Bradford and the Rams’ 5th round pick this year. If Bradford doesn’t play 50% of snaps, the Eagles get a 2016 4th round pick. If he’s reinjured, they get a 3rd rounder in 2016..
