Comcast Spectacor Is Literally Rebranding Itself As The Evil Empire From James Bond Films

Comcast Spectacor is rebranding themselves as, unified company, Spectra, probably because Spectacor was a dumb word and nobody could spell it.

In turn Spectra will consist of three divisions: Venue Management (formerly Global Spectrum), Food Services & Hospitality (formerly Ovations Food Services) and Ticketing & Fan Engagement (formerly Paciolan).

Not a bad name. But I probably would’ve gone with the alternate spelling:

    Who cares? How is this beneficial to anyone (other than the companies making money on new signage)?

    Sounds like a lot of smoke and mirrors, designed to deflect attention away from poor performance and high prices!
