Here’s Audio of Jason Kelce Covering Jason Isbell and Singing an Original Song on WXPN

Two of the Eagles’ everymen – Jason Kelce and Connor Barwin – stopped by WXPN’s afternoon show hosted by Dan Reed yesterday. It was a departure for two professional athletes to go on a radio station that does no sports talk, but Barwin is involved in that whole scene (just look at that hat) and brought Kelce along to actually play some songs on the air. Kelce covered Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up” and played an original tune, and wouldn’t you know it, he ain’t bad. He’s got some Waits-y gravel in his voice.
