Eagles Players are Below the League Average at Getting Arrested

Jim Adair | August 12, 2015

It might not seem like it – because it’s on the news every time it happens – but NFL players actually get arrested at a lower rate than the rest of society. Still, some teams have bigger problems with it than others (cough cough Vikings cough). Over the last five years, each NFL team has had an average of 7.9 players arrested. The Eagles fall below that with 7.

Those numbers include instances of arrest that didn’t lead to any charges, so that nonsense Nate Allen arrest is in there:

Since Chip Kelly took over in 2013, the Eagles have had three arrests. In that same time, the league average settled in at 4.3. That’s that #Culture we’re always talking about, I guess.
