RGIII Says Fall Guy, I Mean Intern, Liked Anti-Redskins Instagram Post

Last night, controversy arose in the people who pay attention to who likes what on Instagram community, as someone noticed Robert Griffin III liked the above post which had a caption ripping apart the Redskins, who recently demoted RGIII and may or may not be trying to actively run him out of town. Is it possible RGIII just liked the picture without reading the caption? Sure. Is it possible he liked it without thinking? Yea. But that’s not what happened, according to RGIII.
In an Instagram post that was just text that said “I want to set the record straight,” RGIII captioned:
I just wanted to set the record straight on this one. I did not “like” that IG post ridiculing our team. I have not been social media active consistently for awhile now and am ultra-focused on working to get back on the field and trying to help this team. One of our interns who helps with Instagram liked the post. As soon as I was made aware of it, it was immediately unliked. That is not how I feel and I appreciate your understanding.

ONE OF HIS INTERNS. One of. Congratulations, generic intern #1, you have become the first fall guy in the post-Chris Carter fall guy speech era. So at least you have that going for you, if you even exist.
The Redskins are a goddamn disaster.
