After 14 years in the NHL – 11 of those with the Flyers – Simon Gagne has officially decided to call it a career. “Today, I want to thank my trainers and teammates,” Gagne said in a retirement press release. “You inspired me to surpass myself … I also wish to thank my fans. Every evening, you energized me and inspired me to perform.”

He tallied 535 of his 601 career points in orange and black, and ends his career in the top-ten in Flyers history in games played (10th), goals (9th), points (10th), and game-winning goals (6th), among others.

Some career highlights, after the jump.

  1. you know Jim already had his eagle dick sucking article all written out and had to delete it. Then he threw together this article quick this morning.

  2. Speaking of losers, the #2 host for afternoon sports talk JOSH INNES is fat and gross and a huge slob.

His ratings are in the toiler. Now sure if you’ve heard….

    1. Number one in ratings as of August.

Must be a rough month for Missanelli His BS about Mariota only being able to thrive under Chip Kelly looks suspect as he was incredible in his debut. His boy “Matty Ice” threw up two picks that kept the Eagles alive and he almost choked away a 17 point lead at home. His beloved Penn State Nittany Lions get crushed by Temple. He is still the second most listened to sports radio show in his time slot. He is an irrelevant old bore who at 63 pretends he is a hipster in his early thirties.

      1. A St. Louis Cardinals fan from Houston who also worships the LSU Tigers and KFC fried chicken. The other option.

  3. No one wants to live in fucking Delaware, which is the Armpit of Philadelphia and Baltimore, and as bland as boxed Ronzoni linguine topped with Land O Lakes GMO butter. It’s like Gloucester County NJ, but worse.
