Hanging Jason Kelce in Effigy May Have Saved the Eagles Season

Something changed on Sunday. Perhaps it was the offensive line it was probably the Saints. Perhaps it was Sam Bradford it was probably the Saints. Perhaps it was Fletcher Cox coming up big it was probably the Saints. Or it was Jason Kelce’s offensive line mates hanging the center in effigy:

“I honestly don’t know,” Johnson admitted. “I think Jason Peters or somebody put it up last week. We ended up winning, so I’m just going to keep it there.”
Besides serving as a good luck charm, it seems as though the Kelce doll might be part of some sort of Pedro Serrano action taking place within the walls of the NovaCare Complex.
“We had to make some sort of sacrifice to get something going,” Johnson explained. “That’s the closest thing we could get.”
Right now, Chip Kelly is just really, really thankful Kelce is white.
