When Citizens Bank Park hosted the Winter Classic, one of fans’ favorite moments was the alumni game between Flyers and Rangers old timers. It might not have been the most competitive game in the world, but to see people like Eric Lindros play alongside Bernie Parent was enough. If you miss that, you’ll have you chance to see something like it again.

In February, the Flyers will celebrate their new affiliation with the Reading Royals by playing an alumni hockey game at the Santander Arena. Every decade of Flyers hockey will be represented in some way, and players who have already committed to the intrasquad game include Bob Clarke, the still hanging-around Paul Holmgren, Danny Briere, Dave Poulin, Brad Marsh, and Ray Allison. It’s going to be great, and for only $12 it’s worth as many Holmgren heckles as you can come up with.
