Chip Kelly Rang in the New Year in Key West

Jacket tied around the shoulders? Looks like Chip’s already back in #College.

Freshly relieved of his coaching duties, Chip Kelly (and his girlfriend and dog, presumably) spent the last few days in Key West*.

I spent a good ten minutes looking at this photo because something looked off. Is there a glow in Chip’s eye? A hint of joy in his face? Nope. It’s just that this is the first time he’s probably been seen publicly in nearly three years without an Eagles hat on. It’s bizarre, and it’ll take some getting used to. It’d be easier to adjust to if he untied that damn jacket, though.

Kyle: Really odd that he wouldn’t stay in that coastal New Hampshire home. I’d never leave that place.

*I imagine Chip treats waiters and bartenders with a courtesy he never extended the press conference media here, and that makes me happy.
