MMMMMMMM, MORE. LET ME TASTE IT! LET ME TASTE IT!

desean

Chris Chase, writing for For The Win, letting me taste it:

Dude just decided to up and not score, almost like he was playing against himself in postseason fantasy. The worst part of the this play (which would have put the Redskins up 9-0 with an extra point) in ascending order — stick with the list to get to the largest point about how this killed the ‘Skins.

The play gave the Packers, a team that was on virtual football life support after losing two straight games to end the year and six of 10 and had already given up a safety on Saturday then watched Washington march down the field, a complete confidence boost. By stopping the ‘Skins and keeping the score at 5-0 instead of 9-0, Green Bay was a totally different team after. You can downplay the effects of momentum all you want, but it’s very real and, especially in football, crucial. DJax just gave it to Green Bay.

Culture may not win football, but neither does DeSean Jaccson.

Side note: I’m not at all bitter that this play may have very well cost me $50 across multiple leagues on Draft Kings because I had a Kirk Cousins-D-Jac stacc.
