WHAT ON GOD’S GREAT GREEN PLANET IS GOING ON?!

Adam Schefter apparently just reported on NFL Live – we’re searching for the video – that the Eagles will not place the franchise tag on Sam Bradford, keeping him around for a year, and will opt for the much more sane option of TRADING FOR NICK FOLES!

More soon. But, spoiler, I may be done with this team.

UPDATE: There is some conjecture that this was based off a fake Tweet. There was indeed a fake Tweet, but it went out at 10:28, after the alert. We’re trying to find video from NFL Live.

UPDATE 2: Still no evidence that Schefter said this on the air, but ESPN sent out the alert nonetheless.
