Strong turnout in Brooklyn for the Flyers’ win over the Islanders last night. The Phans of Philly brought up another massive group.
Reader Damien checks in to report that everything was cordial. Mostly. Except for this NY fan, who decide to hit Damien with an out-of-the-blue “go fuck yourself, cocksucker” after the game:

You know what? I can’t even hate that delivery. Firm. Deliberate. A little bit nasty, but not totally unhinged. Like, I genuinely believe the guy wanted Damien to go fuck himself. This is the sort of guy who would give you a real assertive middle finger in the car. Used as a tool, not a weapon.
