After over a season’s worth of talk and expectations, either the best or worst thing for Robert Griffin III’s career just happened to him: He’s been released by the Redskins.
The Redskins have hitched their wagon to Kirk “Kurt” Cousins for at least one year to the tune of $19 million. Maybe they did that because they thought the Eagles would make a run at him, maybe they didn’t. But now RGIII is free to sign with any team in the league that didn’t just drop millions on a QB.
