In a last ditch attempt to change up something and at least not get swept, Dave Hakstol has shuffled his lineup around for tonight’s Game 4. The biggest change is in net, where Michael Neuvirth will start in goal over the beleaguered Steve Mason in an attempt to make one last splash. At this point, changing the goalie is the equivalent to spitting in a wishing well. The series is all but blown to hell, but Hakstol made some other swaps too. According to Sam Carchidi:

At the morning skate in Voorhees, Brayden Schenn, who had been centering the second line, replaced Jake Voracek at left wing on the top unit.

Michael Raffl centered the second line, between Voracek and Sam Gagner.

Ryan White was shifted from right wing to center on the fourth line, replacing the suspended Pierre-Edouard Bellemare. Colin McDonald joined the line at right wing.

All the eyes of the sports world will be on this game tonight. Actually, that’s not even close to true, but they will be tomorrow if the fans screw up. The absolute best likely outcome – other than a win – is that the Flyers and fans go in there, take the loss on the chin, and do it respectfully. Wonder what the odds are on that happening?
