Michael and Martellus Bennett aren’t afraid to rip into players they don’t like. In a profile by ESPN’s Mina Kimes, Michael called Jay Cutler – Martellus’ former quarterback – the “worst quarterback in the NFL.” Martellus said Eli Manning is “like a normal white guy you see at the park trying to teach his kids how to play soccer and you know he can’t really play soccer himself.” Michael called Cam Newton “the quarterback I like to hit the most.” And then they got to Sam Bradford:

Martellus: (chortles) “Get the Charmin.”

Michael: “The greatest quarterback in the NFL.”

Martellus: “Tough.”

Michael: “Tough. Yeah.”

Martellus: “Vicious. Competitive.”

Michael: “A real Joe Montana.”

There’s an endorsement for the guy the Eagles are paying $18 million this year to stunt the growth of Carson Wentz. The video is after the jump.

They really nailed one thing though: Pete Carroll does look like Joel Osteen.

Post Script: Easily the best part of the profile is when Kimes and the Bennetts visit an animation studio where Martellus is working on a stop-motion TV show. When examining a small figure that looks like him, he remarks: “If I don’t make black characters, who will? In Frozen, there’s not one black character in Arendelle. I don’t even know where Arendelle is, but there’s gotta be a black person somewhere. One of us made it over there, goddamn it.”
