Here’s how I advise playing Week 1– let’s splurge a little. Put $25 on the line. Obviously enter the two FREE contests, play another big money game for $3-$5, and take the rest and play in two 50-50 leagues (where essentially the top half of finishers double their money). That’s the way to go. You’ll take a few fliers on big money, but then be competing for a more realistic $20-$40 in smaller contests. Or, grab a group of friends and challenge them to a winner-take-all game.
There are tons of ways to play, and I find having a mix of long shots and smaller contests is the way to get the most out of it. You can play for modest sums of money each week without breaking the bank. And just so you don’t think I’m BS-ing you– I put my money where my mouth is and am currently enrolled in $64 worth of Week 1 events. Want to play me head-to-head?
