Elton Brand to Officially Retire at the End of Pre-Season

“It’s for real this time,” Brand told reporters today while announcing his retirement. And there go all those questions about his roster spot.

Brand spent 17 seasons in the NBA with the Bulls, Clippers, Sixers, Mavericks, Hawks, and then Sixers again. He averaged 15.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks.
