Sixers Win Fourth Straight at Home on the Back of Joel Embiid
The Sixers have won two straight games for the first time since March 2015. They’ve won four straight at home for the first time since February 2015. They’re now 4-10. Last season, they got their 4th win on January 4th. The Sixers now have more home wins than 10 other teams.
As it has been every game, the story was Joel Embiid. JoJo’s 22 points in 23 minutes are almost expected at this point, and he shot 7/13 from the floor and 1/2 from three (he’s still 50% on the season). Gerald Henderson scored a season-high 19, ol’ reliable Ersan Ilyasova put in a 10 point, 11 rebound double-double, and Robert Covington – though cold as hell from the field – scored 9 points, notched 9 rebounds, and stole the ball three times. The Sixers are now 4-5 at the Wells Fargo Center, with three more coming.
Meet me after the jump to revel in a legitimate win streak.
